About me

My name is Sam Bruynseels and my mission is to assist people and organizations in enhancing leadership across all levels. 

What sets me apart is the powerful synergy of my diverse academic background and extensive leadership experience. With a strong foundation in economics and psychology, I have served as both a management consultant and a senior executive. 

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at Vlerick/UGent/KUL, with a focus on "dysfunctional leadership". As part of my research, I am seeking collaboration with organizations and executives to gain deeper insights and practical perspectives

As a counselor, I specialize in profiling individuals in leadership and management roles through a non-confrontational approach that considers both individual and contextual factors. My academic interests lie in exploring organizational contexts, dynamics, culture and governance, with a particular focus on how these elements influence leadership effectiveness. 

About DEMILOURD

The gentleman in the picture, who also graces the logo, was my beloved grandfather, Charles Bruynseels. He was a professional boxer in the 1920s, fighting fiercely in the light heavyweight category. Throughout his life, he endearingly misspelled his weight division in French, and this charming quirk lives on in the name of my company, a tribute to his unique legacy. 

Despite my enthusiasm for boxing, I did not inherit my grandfather's talent in the sport. Therefore I pursued a different career path but nevertheless I bring the same tenacity and results-oriented focus to my professional endeavors.
